Engine-On: Intelligent Optimization
With the engine running, Clima-Tech®‘s Auto Mode continuously monitors the inside and outside temperatures and operational demands. It adjusts compressor operation, condenser fans, blower speed, and water valves to maintain set points within 1°F.

Colour-coded backlighting provides instant feedback: red for heating, blue for cooling, green for maintaining air movement. Operators know the system status at a glance.
Engine-Off: Seamless Cooling
Engine shutdown traditionally ends air conditioning. E-Breeze changes that with a battery-powered electric compressor that delivers full cooling capacity without the engine.

When integrated with Clima-Tech®, the transition happens automatically. No interface changes. No manual switching. The system shifts from engine-driven to battery-powered cooling while maintaining identical operation.
This matters for emergency vehicles on scene, work trucks during breaks, and service vehicles between stops. Comfortable working conditions without fuel burn, engine wear, or idle penalties.
For heating, Clima-Tech® manages electric- or fuel-fired auxiliary heaters through the same interface, automatically activating them when engine coolant is unavailable.
Shore Power: Automated Transition
Shore power has always meant separate controls and manual reconfiguration. Clima-Tech® detects shore power automatically and prioritizes electric heating over fuel-fired alternatives when equipped.
The interface stays the same. Controls, setpoints, and operational logic remain consistent. For fleets with overnight parking facilities or maintenance yards, this means warm cabs at departure, no pre-start idling, and batteries charged for E-Breeze operation.
Unified Diagnostics
The Info button provides real-time system data across all power states: temperatures, pressures, component speeds, and fault conditions. Technicians have the same diagnostic access regardless of whether they are troubleshooting engine-on cooling, engine-off E-Breeze operation, or shore power heating.

Three-tiered fault categorization guides responses:
- Red (Non-Operational): immediate attention required
- Orange (Non-Recurring): temporary issue, system recovering
- Green (Conditional): continued operation with monitoring

This intelligence reduces diagnostic time and enables proactive maintenance, preventing minor issues from becoming major failures.
